仏師の父の背中を見て育ち、目に見えない想いに形を与える手仕事を幼い頃から身近に感じてきました。ジュエリーデザイナーとして活動を始めて以来30年以上、日本のジュエリーのあり方を探り続けてきました。2013年に発表した Japone. は、古くから願いを託されてきた日本の伝統文様を、現代に身に着けるジュエリーとして形にしたブランドです。一生ものとして、そして次の世代へ受け継がれるものとして、日本から世界へ、一点ずつ想いを込めて作り続けています。

Raised watching his father, a Buddhist sculptor, at work, he grew up close to the craft of giving form to unseen wishes. For more than thirty years as a jewelry designer, he has continued to explore what Japanese jewelry can be. Japone., launched in 2013, gives traditional Japanese motifs — long entrusted with people's wishes — a new life as jewelry to be worn today. Made to last a lifetime and to be passed on to the next generation, each piece is crafted with care, from Japan to the world.

• 2006山梨県立宝石美術専門学校 非常勤講師。コンテスト審査員など若手育成にも携わるPart-time lecturer at the Yamanashi Prefectural Jewelry Art School; also nurtures young talent as a competition judge
• 2009NHK紅白歌合戦 審査員のジュエリーを手掛けるCreates jewelry for the judges of NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen
• 2010–2016日本橋三越本店・銀座店に作品常設展示、デザイナー展多数Works on permanent display at Mitsukoshi Nihombashi and Ginza; numerous designer exhibitions
• 2013ブランド Japone.® を発表Launches the brand Japone.®
